Countries around the planet took note, and moved (as India did, for example) away from command and control models toward a purer form of capitalism. In the wake of this shift, it is tempting to see a global convergences around a single capitalist system. But in fact, after a brief convergence, it appears that the consequences of capitalism’s ascendence is a divergence of capitalist models.
